What's New
Our Children's Story Hour features all new programming and a new day and time. On Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00, we will be featuring stories and activities about the beach. Crafting and snacks included. Come join us for the fun!

On June 6th join us from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Canfield Gallery opening reception for Bennington watercolor artist Tony Connor. His expressive landscapes of Vermont will be featured in the gallery for the month of June. This exhibit includes mostly studio paintings done in his expressive wet-into-wet style. These paintings are informed by his on-location, outdoor paintings, but focus on the experience of a particular moment. The main objective of the paintings in this exhibit is to freeze moments in time and reveal the evocative character of common subjects.

On June 7th Rick Winston will be speaking about The Hollywood Blacklist. In the late 1940's and early 1960's, many screenwriters, directors, and actors were victims of the Red Scare. They were rendered unemployable due to their refusal to testify before congressional committees. Join us for this fascinating topic. This is a Vermont Humanities Council Speakers Bureau program.

And coming soon: Amazing summer programming for children!
