Welcome to the Martha Canfield Library!

Coming soon!  A "new and improved" website!  We're excited and we hope you will find it a big improvement.

Free libraries are something special! How do they manage? - -We want to thank everyone who donated during the fund drive.  You are all true gems.  We appreciate every single dollar.  We were able to reach our goal through the very generous donation of a single donor who enabled us to get over that final shortfall.  It was exciting to see that many of you increased your donations from what you had given in previous years, some by a very small amount, others by a substantial amount.  It made us realize that you do understand the financial challenge that we face.  We also want to thank those of you that pledged to give monthly.  This was a method for many people to increase their donation for the year in an easy way as well as provide us with money coming in all year.

Read more on the SUPPORT page. There is important information there on our needs for next year and the many ways that you can support the library.
