Opiate Crisis Forum at Federated Church on Ice Pond Road
Tuesday 06 March 2018, 07:00pm
Hits : 456

Note: this event is held at the Federated Church of East Arlington on Ice Pond Road

Join the forum of a panel of local experts who will provide an overview of the current impact of the opiate crisis on the Arlington, Sandgate, and Sunderland community, as well as ample time for questions.  Refreshments will also be available in Bailey Hall. Vermont, as well as America as a whole, has been gripped by an ongoing opiate crisis with 106 overdose deaths in 2016.  The prediction from the Vt Department of Heather indicates that the 2017 statistics are tracking close to 2016. There are few individuals who have been been affected in some manner by the ongoing crisis.  This forum is a collaboration between the Federated Church of East Arlington, The Arlington Renewal Project, and The Collaborative with additional support for the Arlington Nursing Assocation.  This event is public and all are invited to attend.  For more information, please contact Reverend Kathy Clark at 802-375-2548.
