Research with Census, Naturalization and Passenger Lists

This seminar will explore the benefits and weaknesses of census, naturalization records, and passenger lists in genealogy research.

The presenter, Bill Budde, is a professional genealogist and curator of the Russell Vermontiana Collection that serves as the repository for history, family papers, and documents for Arlington, Sandgate, and Sunderland. Bill has extensive experience planning and presenting trainings and seminars on various aspects of genealogy and family history, is the coordinator of the Scottish Genealogy, History, and Culture seminars for the annual New Hampshire Highland Games and has presented throughout New England. He has worked at the Bennington Museum as library assistant in the research library, and as archival assistant in the curatorial department.
